Did you know? Delta Sand & Gravel has partnered with Wildish, Eugene Sand & Gravel and Lane Worksource to help local community members find work and gain the skills they need to build successful, rewarding careers in the Lane County construction industry. The coalition is called Eugene Aggregate Drivers.
This year, we graduated five successful applicants from the Driver Training Program into employment at Delta: Sabrina Davidson, John Heffelfinger, Tyler Clark, Brandt Enright and Craig Park. Congratulations again to our graduates and thank you to Mike Perino and Richard Cissney, two of our veteran drivers who trained them, for helping our team grow.
Do you love the open road? Do you want to help build a strong and vibrant community? Do you want to work in a growing industry and a rewarding field? You could make an excellent truck driver in the aggregate materials industry.

Setting a good example on and off the road
There was a time in the United States when truck drivers were considered the safest drivers on the road. With increasingly congested highways and shorter and shorter delivery timelines, Delta Sand & Gravel prides ourselves in the ability to provide the quickest delivery times in our industry, prioritizing safety and courtesy on the road and at each delivery site. As a participant in the driver training program, you will learn not only the skills you need to successfully take your load from point A to point B but how to maneuver safely on the road and at each drop location.
